POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for all systems, personnel information and computer generated human resources reports. Responsible for maintenance of all employee benefits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Exhibits excellent customer service and communication skills. Attend agency events.
  • Designs computerized reports to provide accurate, timely information to meet specialized requests from all departments.
  • Interfaces with payroll on all personnel matters to insure input and maintenance of accurate personnel records. Maintains ADP system update of all agency personnel information.
  • Is the HRB database and application expert.
  • Assist Director in implementation of new and improved benefits throughout the year. Stays current with changes in all benefit laws. Coordinates the agency Benefit Fair.
  • Administers all benefits for the Agency, including but not limited to: the health, dental, life and disability insurances for all eligible employees.
  • Administers all COBRA information including notification, tracking, and receipt of payment, and all unused deductions.
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS Experience, Education and Licensure Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Computer Science or related area of concentration, or equivalent work. Experience and/or industry specific training and education. Three to Five years experience as a system analyst supporting vendor software applications, preferably in health care, including training users, troubleshooting problems, coordinating systems operations, and writing reports. Must be detail oriented, possess strong organizational skills, ability to work well with all levels of management and possess a high degree of confidentiality. Unless otherwise agreed upon by employer, employee must have a valid drivers license. Furthermore, employee shall have use of a vehicle during working times and insurance as a driver of that automobile. Understanding of personal computers and client-server environment. A fundamental knowledge and understanding of Computer networks, databases. Must be familiar with MS Word, Outlook and Excel.

Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
