POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for generating sales and referrals for All Care VNA. Coordinate home care service plans for referred patients. Educate and act as a resource to physicians, discharge planners, case managers and clients. Act as a consultant to All Care staff regarding specific facility protocols and community services.

  • Responsible for increasing referrals to All Care Hospice Based on individual budgeted goals.
  • Responsible for maintaining and growing present referral source relationships to meet budgeted goals.
  • Responsible for establishing additional referral sources that generate admissions for All Care Hospice to meet budgeted goals.
  • Responsible for the marketing and promotion of all new services and programs developed for All Care Hospice.
  • Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face to face cold calling and networking opportunities.
  • Complete understanding of the services and benefits of Hospice.
  • Maintains accurate weekly records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales and follow-up activities within assigned territory.
  • Participates and contributes to the development of educational programs offered to clients, prospects and company employees.
  • Maintain contact with all clients in the market area to ensure high levels of client satisfaction.
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by supervisor.

The employee is expected to act as a role model and to adhere to all Agency policies.

QUALIFICATIONS · Experience, Education and Licensure 

Preferred 5 years combined sales experience preferable in acute and home care settings. Must have excellent presentation and communication skills, proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. Must be familiar with MS Word, Outlook and Excel. Unless otherwise agreed upon by employer, employee must have a valid drivers license. Furthermore, employee shall have use of a vehicle during working times and insurance as a driver of that automobile. Graduate of an NLN accredited school of nursing. RN currently licensed in the state where client services are being rendered. Previous Hospice Sales experience.


While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; talk or hear; taste or smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

· Language Skills: Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence memoranda.
