Position Summary:Responsible for planning, designing, developing, organizing, implementing, monitoring and evaluating the Agency's internal and external communications, marketing programs, and fundraising programs.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish and conduct programs to evaluate and increase employee awareness of the Agency's programs and services.
  • Develop all internal and external marketing materials, including, but not limited to: brochures, audio-visual presentation tools, to increase community awareness for the organization.
  • Establish and maintain communications with persons in the local media regarding community and home health education, various events and news stories. Provide the media with up to 2 or more press releases per month.
  • Oversee yearly ad campaign for all companies.
  • Design, implement and maintain all web sites for All Care.
  • Coordinate, write and produce news and feature stories, slide shows, scripts, photographs, internal and external publications, advertising, newsletters, and brochures, etc.
  • Participate in planning and organizing special events, open houses, etc.
  • Assist in Agency fundraising efforts as needed.
  • Attend a variety of meetings/events and take pictures for future company use.
  • Responsible for marketing team support correspondence - business cards, stationary, labels, tradeshow set-up, flu clinics, etc.
  • Maintain records, reports, and statistics as required.
  • Any other responsibilities assigned by supervisor

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS
BA Degree from four-year college or university or one to two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated skills in written and oral communication. Effective interpersonal relations skills. Skills in photography and the use of audiovisual media desired. Public speaking ability. Previous experience in journalism or public relations required. Experience in community relations and fund raising desired. Experience with health organizations preferred. Current valid driver's license required.

Language Skills
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
